WordCommand 2.0 Software
Update Notes
1. Plug and Play
Databases (Word Sets)
WordCommand now supports Plug
and Play databases (word sets) that are interchangeable among users. This
feature is particularly useful now that user-defined word sets can be created
with the WordCommand Editor.
2. WordCommand Editor
Want to add a word or two? Need to create a word set
for a particular test you are studying for? Want to create a spelling
test? Are you a teacher with specific needs? No problem!
The WordCommand Editor makes it easy to edit existing
user-defined databases or create new databases. It is useful for creating
small or large databases, depending on your needs. Once a database is
created, it can be used by any other WordCommand user. Enter as little or
as much information as you want for each word. The Editor does not require
information in all fields.
WordCommand Editor features also include spell check,
pronunciation recording and import, word import from other user-defined word
sets, and lesson creation.
3. 500 New Words
A new "Success 2" word set has been added containing 500
words. Coupled with the 1,000 word "Success 1" word set, the program now
contains 1,500 words.
4. Hot SAT & GRE Categories
For those of you studying for the SAT and GRE exams, there
is a new filter for Hot SAT and GRE words (words frequently found on the exams).
You can learn the words in the program lesson by lesson, or you can open up the
entire list within each database (Success 1 & 2) and study them as a group.
5. Quiz Me on My
Spelling!
The quiz options now include an option to quiz on
spelling. The user can choose to only hear the word to be spelled, or also
be presented with its definition. Incorrect answers are visually and
verbally spelled out for the user.
6. Other Enhancements

previous limit was 15)

has been added within the AutoLearn dialog box
